Our owner, Chelsey's, experience as a Certified Aveda Color Educator and 12+ year stylist coupled with an in house Inspiring Champions Certified Salon Coach brings a unique edge to anyone looking to build their business into something challenging, rewarding, and lucrative.
We have three types of opportunity available:
Advanced Growth Stylist ( 3+ years of in salon experience )
New Talent ( under 2 years of in salon work experience )
Apprenticeship ( for the individual that would like a custom tailored learning experience and ability to work building their clientele at the same time )
We work with stylists that have been in the industry 3+ years in a different capacity than those younger in their career. Through advanced classes that the salon covers half the cost of, business coaching in salon and out, and advanced consultation workshops and tools, we are able to launch you out of being plateaued into being on fire for your career again. For skills you desire to develop further that there are not calendar classes for, we will facilitate them in house and bring in live models to accommodate your learning needs.
Now for stylists that have been in the industry less than 2 years we have a slightly different strategy. While the advanced classes are also available to you, we do more in house training specific to honing in skills needed to build your career stronger than ever. We help you identify your strengths and weaknesses and decide which are best suited to be developed over time, and which ones should be left in the dust.
Our apprentice program is designed for the individual that would like to keep 10-20,000 dollars in their pocket and build their business at the same time while learning a new craft. It is an unpaid position for the first 900 hours out of the 3000 The State Board of Cosmetology & Barbering requires you to finish before sitting for your board testing. In this (roughly 6 month) period of time you will work with the Owner and Retail Advisor to first work on your customer service skills, retail recommendations, and smart scheduling. As you test out on your soft business skills listed above you will also incorporate the Aveda Rituals, shampooing, and blow dry assists. Nearing the end of your 900 hours you will have begun working on your fundamentals in Cutting, Stylings, and Color application/Formulation. Starting at 901 hours you are eligible for a paid position along with your Tuition Free education so long as your test out grades and your retail numbers stay above the benchmarks set for stylists.
